Am I pregnant? Not TTC, on the pill.

Okay so I'm having all of the regular pregnancy symptoms.. I've had heart palpitations going on three weeks now, which I have never had before. I've had unusual clear jelly like discharge, with no smell(sorry tmi) which again I've never had before. I've had a lot more headaches than usual, and been peeing a lot more but that could just be me being paranoid and wanting to be pregnant You should also note that I'm on the oral contraceptive pill and have never experienced any side effects with the pill. Now I took two pregnancy tests the first day I of the 7 day pill free week, both with , but I did then come on my withdrawal bleed at the end of the 4th going in to the 5th day of the pill free week. It was a fairly normal bleed and ended on the 7th day. Obviously because I bled as normal, I ruled out pregnancy as the cause of these symptoms until three days ago. I felt nauseous literally all day on sunday, monday and tuesday, and the only way I stopped feeling nauseous is if I was to actually vomit, and I vomited each day at roughly 3am. But now I'm confused because its now wednesday and I've had no nausea today at all just a strong all day headache. I have noticed since my nausea started I've been very sensitive to smells. None of this makes any sense to me because I'm on the pill. If any of you who got pregnant on the pill still had a withdrawal bleed I'd love to know! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you could be. But it could also be a number of other things ( the joys of pregnancy symptoms) I know a lot of people who have gotten pregnant on the pill. When is AF due?

I was supposed to come on my withdrawal bleed as normal the 29th but I didn't get a bleed until 4/5 days after this!

Do you want a baby? Just curious, as I read that you're 16 years old. I would buy a test, since you're having all of those symptoms. The pill definitely isn't foolproof, but I'd say probably not pregnant, unless you've taken antibiotics.

i'd test again, It wouldnt be impossible to get pregnant on the pill. Maybe you just tested too early. I hope you get the result you want and good luck either way. Dont let your age stand in your way if its what you want, i certainly didn't. Although i dont think jellybean was trying to judge, just curious. Keep us updated. xx

When I went off of the depo, I had a lot of the pregnancy symptoms just from the depo leaving my body. Its normal to get these symptoms when you're coming off the pill as well.

Thanks, ladies...I wasn't trying to judge...was truly just curious if you were ttc or not. I know that when I was that young it would have been tough for me to have a LO, but that's me. There are tons of young mothers who are absolutely amazing. GL to you This forum is a great place for support.

eta--please keep us updated

--hard to type, holding LO now.
