I got my last official period on March 13th. I am very regular, every 26 days. I was on the pill a year ago and within four months I was back to my regular cycle. normally my period lasts 5-7 days, starting off moderate to heavy right away and then slowly fading away! Between March 24-March 31st I had ALOT of sex with my bf. We were trying for a baby. We even put the pillow under my hips and I would lay there for 20-30mins after. Around the 3rd of April, I started getting really really bad nausea that seemed to get worse everytime I ate food! My boobs also got a bit sensitive, but I chalked that up to my period coming. My next period was due on April 8th, but on April 7th, I started to get this watery pink fluid! It was like that for most of the day, but then in the evening it got a bit heavier and I told my bf sorry, I got my period. What was strange though is that I had very little pain and I am normally curled up in bed with bad cramps every month! The next day was even stranger. We were singing at a function (our job, we are musicians) and I suddenly got this feeling like I was peeing blood for a long time. I went to the bathroom and the pad was soaked with bright red blood but no tissue or clots or bad pain which I ALWAYS get with my period. This happened two more times during the day and by the evening I was so dizzy and exhausted, I had to take a nap before I went to work. Then that night, everything just slowed down and by the next morning, it had totally disappeared. Since then I have had lower back aches and cramps on and off. Yesterday I felt a small flow and my panty liner had a bit of light brown discharge and then nothing again. My stomache looks so distended and I have so much gas and I am not at all regular with my bowel movements anymore, in fact I'm almost constipated. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, but my soon to be mother in law told me that maybe there are not enough hormones to get a good reading and she thinks that I am pregnant......what do you guys think???
I'm not sure if you're pregnant or not as you've had the bleed. Was it heavier than normal or lighter? With my daughter my period started but stopped after a day. I didn't test positive with her until I was 5 days late. And my sister had a really heavy period and still turns out to be pregnant.
Might be an idea to visit your doctor?
I'll keep my fingers tightly crossed for you!
It was light at first and then really heavy for about 10-12hours on the second day before it disappeared totally! It was so strange! I feel so strange...there are moments in the day where I feel like omg...i am so pregnant, and then other times when I am just not sure and doubt myself! I am gonna try to go to a doctor either tomorrow or on Monday! Send some baby dust my way!
We are on the same cycle and it looks like you dtd during your most fertile time... maybe wait a few days and test again. I too am very regular but have the occasional "weird month" so it could have just been a weird period this month.
