Clomid -help

Can any of you lovely ladies help me please? This last cycle I took clomid days 1-5 but got AF today (or start of anyway). I'm sure I read on here somewhere that you should take it days 3-7. The leaflet with it says start any day between 1-5, and GP did't say anything.

I have come across a website at some point recently all about Clomid and when to take, but now I want to look at it, can't find it!!

I posted this by mistake on the TWW forum, sorry if you see this twice!

No not being monitored. Same as you, I ovulate fine but trying this as been trying 23 cycles with nothing whatsoever!! Think I will do 3-7 this month.
We are going back to fertility consultant week after next with view to doing 'timed conception' to give us more chance of getting timing right.
It's stressing me out so much as I'm 40 in October and feel time is running out.

I took them for 3 days back in Jan (long story why I stopped at three!), I had hot flushes during the night for a couple of nights. It made my cycle a couple of days longer and my period much heavier. Nothing major though. I then had a couple of months break while I waited for HyCosy to be done, and started taking them properly this last month (no hot flushes this time)
I will start mine some time next week (if AF ever kicks in properly!) for month 2.
Let me know how you get on? How long you been trying? Have you had all the necessary tests/scans etc?x

I'm 32. I've been off the pill 3 years, I was told by hospital to take Clomid day 2-6 which I did for 5 months this month is my last round & I've taken it 3-7 to see if it helps.....I will not be taking anymore Clomid as I've had enough the hot flushes, heavier/longer periods & moods.

Good Luck x
