Hi Ladies! We finally got our bfp after 9 months of ttc and one Chemical Pregnancy! I took 200mg Soy Iso (walmart) from cd3-7. I can honestly say that this was the first month I felt ovulation pains, and I was sure I ovulated. In the past Ive always had pos opk's and my temps reflected ovulation but never O cramps. So maybe the soy kicked ovulation in to high gear, and DH and I only BDed 2 times this cycle. Regardless we are finally prego and to think I was actually going to take a break from ttc if I got a bfn this cycle!
As far as symptoms...really nothing stood out this month (unlike every other month when i was sure I was pregnant) I was very tired...going to bed at 730pm kind of tired...and my appetite has gone crazy.
Anywho I just wanted to share since Ive always gotten a wealth of information from you all.
Please can u explain what soy is and how u take it and what is does? I'm on cd2 now so might get some x
Hey! SO sorry I've been MIA. I really should set things up so I'll be notified. Anywho. I'm sure you've already don't your research by now. Soy Isoflavones work like Clomid to help women ovulate. Usually I believe Clomid is only given when a women isnt ovulating on her own...same with soy BUT I (and many other women) took it even if we believe we are ovulating (based on opks temps etc). I've also heard that it can help you ovulate "better" producing a good egg? Pleas correct me if I'm wrong. You take it for 5 days only in the beginning of your cycle. I did day 3-7 and I did the max dose of 200mg. It did the trick I felt o pains for the first time in my life! I'm sure others have more info and can correct me if I'm wrong!
