I was just wondering how many of you ladies experienced a miscarriage while using Clomid. I was on my second round of it and concieved but sadly it did not stick and lost the baby at 6 weeks. I have read that many women experienced a loss after taking Clomid. I'm curious if any of you did, what cycle? And did you have a successful pregnancy using Clomid after the miscarriage?
sorry for loss...
i got pregnant on third round of clomid 150 dose + dexamathasone+bravelle 2 shots.....got my bfp....everything was fine...on u/s of 10 weeks ....it showed that fetus stopped growing after 7 weeks....so took pills last week to miscarry.
But i dont think its bcoz of clomid...Dr says there may some chromosonal problem. So it stopped growing.
I have ovulation disorder...so clomid is first solution.
Dont worry....sending lots of baby dust
I am planning on taking it again, I was just wondering because I have read of a lot of women who have miscarried while concieving with Clomid, I am not blamming my loss over it. I was just wondering, I didn't know if it was known for increasing miscarriages.
I mc'd on my first clomid cycle. I was seeing an RE and they did not give me the trigger shot. I think my follicle was about 33mm by the time I ov'd, so I wonder if that might have been the reason for the mc (I was at 5 +4 weeks). I never had a u/s, but I never went above 500 HCG. I am going to try clomid again, but this time, I will get the trigger shot.
I've read that there is a slightly higher chance of miscarriage on clomid, but I do not ov on my own, so it is worth it to me. Not sure if the increased chance is due to the clomid or if the people likely to use clomid are already more likely to mc. Are you seeing an RE?
GL and baby dust to you!
