I'm new to the forums but was after some advice from other people who may have been in my position.
I was very fortunate to get pregnant on my first cycle of trying in March 2013, but I had a MMC on 1st May. We have been TTC since the end of June and are now having no luck.
I know that really this is no time at all but I am starting to get concerned about how regular my periods are, they used to be 28 says before but since the MMC they have been 28, 31, 29, 31 and 33 last month. I have been taking ovulation tests this month since day 14, its now day 21 and I have still not had a positive.
I wanted to know if anyone else has struggled to conceive after a miscarriage? I'm not sure if my periods count as irregular or if ovulation tests are reliable. Has anybody else who has been through similar symptons to me? I would love to hear
You need to relax, me and my partner suffered a mmc Dec last year, we started ttc in May, so it's taken us 7 months. I was really starting to worry. This cycle tho , I did things differently, we went on holiday so I had time to relax and not think about it, I didn't use opk's like . Usually do, and I wasn't stressing, and guess what bfp!
Jess are you charting? OPKs? I use CBFM and believe that helps me have fun while baby making...I will never relax when it comes to this stuff! lol
WE lost our son at 31 weeks due to medical neglect. We miss our son so much and became pregnant 6 wks post partum and had a blighted ovum. I am still testing positive at almost 5 weeks post miscarriage...I am going for blood test on Weds to see if we have a new bean in the oven!
Best advice I can give is have sex BEFORE you even O. I believe that is how we get pregnant so fast....Good luck!
I've been using OPKs but only once a day, I'm pretty sure I've missed the positive test but my husband and I have been trying pretty much every day/every other day so I know if I have ovulated I have a chance. I think I would just feel better if I had a positive OPK so I can be sure I'm still in good working order!!
Good luck with your tests, I really hope you get good news that you deserve
I also had mmc in may and have been trying since the end of June without luck. My cycles also went from around 29 days to 34 as of last month. I am sorry I don't have any answers but want to tell you that I really can relate. I know that they say it can take at least a year normally but that doesn't make me feel any better.
Hoping there's a BFP around the corner for us all.
