Trying again

I had a MC at 7 weeks on 17th march.. wondering what you ladies did with regards to trying again?
Doctor at the hospital said we're good to go when we are ready.. gp said it's advised to wait for 1 cycle usually for dating reasons. Wondering what you ladies did?

I have no bleeding at all now and just feel like i really just want to try again. I will of course wait the two weeks to reduce the risk of infection but want to know if its worth trying immediately or wait that 1 cycle?

After my d&c I hoped wed get pregnanct without waiting for a cycle. However, I was happy we didnt. I say that because the first af gave my body the chance to expel the remaining tissue. I experienced contractions and passed the leftover tissue, so I was grateful for that af because I dont think implantation would have been successful otherwise. Surprisingly, we got pregnant that first cycle. I was expecting it to take us at least 3 cycles to conceive, but Im glad it didnt. Since you had a natural miscarriage you may be able to try straight away. I hope you get your bfp again soon, Mrsmummy!

Thankyou nogreater
I think our plan is to wait until the 2 weeks is up.. start up opks when they arrive, already started temping today and will see where we go. We have a holiday booked for the end of may so really i feel like we maybe should wait until after that but at the moment all I want is to see those double lines again....

Lots of luck and baby dust to you! I'm so sorry for your loss. If you need to chat during this process i'm here. I am hoping to have another baby following a stillbirth, almost one year ago.

We never waited. We kind of intended to but when it came to it we just couldn't bring ourselves to actively prevent.

I never waited with any of my chemicals, but I did after my 12 wk mc...but that was because there was actual tissue and contractions and such, plus more emotional recovery time for me personally. They say you are super fertile the cycle after a mc...got preggo with my youngest the month following a chemical and literally only bd one time that whole month due to not trying and also visiting family... so I say if you’re ready, then go for it!!
