Hopeful for my rainbow baby

I am trying to be hopeful instead of scared. I am trying to envision a healthy baby in my arms. I am trying so hard to not chicken out, like I have before.

I know this journey will be so scary. Losing our daughter at 25 weeks gestation, feels like theres really no "safe zone" in pregnancy.

It terrifies me. But I really want another and I need to focus on the good.

I need some good thoughts.. has anyone had a late loss and a successful pregnancy after?

I am sorry for your loss. I haven't had a late loss, then a rainbow but I know people who have. I had 2 early losses then a rainbow. And I have had another early loss and a recent chemical and I am currently trying for rainbow number 2. Pregnancy after loss is a scary prospect. But when you finally get that little one in your arms there is no feeling like it. Good luck!

Didn’t want to read and run.. I haven’t had a loss that late either but I did recently lose our third child at 10 weeks and a man who was running some of the tests I needed in hospital shortly after was sharing his experience with loss and I thought it might be of comfort to you as it was to me: he and his wife had a still born baby, then an early loss and then a beautiful healthy baby boy. I am so sorry for your loss and I will include you in my prayers.
