hey pixie, ya i went to my ob and talked with her she said not to worry, sometimes people dont get symptoms, just like you said!!!! and so i got another hcg and it was at 168456 so i guess having it at it's peak at the 8 week mark is a good thing???? right?? bc if something was dying, it would be dropping.. i know that after 8 weeks, it starts to go down anyways ...but i guess that is good news... what do you think??? anyways. i love that your pregnancy is going soooo great !!!!! and i love your optimism.!! let me knwo what you think of my hcg theory.??

See I told you!!!! Consider yourself lucky, I am throwing up like every other day and my husband sits there and holds my hair back for me or keeps the kids away from the bathroom. It's really not that fun at all.

When are you having an ultrasound done?? I am so happy that your little bean is ok!!!

As for the hcg theory I have heard that it reaches its peak at a certain week and then it kinda drops or hovers. I am not sure. I know either way I had very high levels with my first two. When it comes to dropping levels yes, if the fetus has passed away levels are normally lower even through they may take a while to make a very significant drop noticable. Again I am not a doctor so don't completely take my word for it lol.

well i saw the heart beat at 6wks 3 days.. and it was 134 bpm

and in a week and a half, when im just over 10wks, hubby and i are going in to hopefully HEAR the heart beat !!!! and my OB says she may have access to a US machine, if we cant hear the hb.. im just praying for the best news ever !!!

also with the hcg thing, i was thinkin things must be okay, or they's start to drop, so im holding onto that and hoping it's the truth.. please continue to keep me posted.!! when is you next US. !!!???

Hey Trusts I am doing fine, had a crazy week and weekend though. Most most of last week I was having some bad cramping and decided to call my doctor who shrugged it off saying cramping was normal in pregnancy. so i just let it go until saturday when I woke up with spotting and called again. Again they shrugged off my cramping and spotting saying it was no big deal when in all actuality it was a very big deal for me!!! So finally sick of not being cared about by my doctor I went to a different hospital a couple miles out of the city and got checked. Thankfully they understood how I felt and ran all the needed tests to either find out if the baby was ok or prepare me for the worst. Thankfully the baby was completely fine and healthy and is actually measuring slightly ahead. The ultrasound tech even gave me two pictures to help ease my worry head and told me that the baby looked and sounded fantastic. Here is the baby and it looks as though it is already measuring 11 weeks even though I am still 10 weeks.

OH MY GOODNESS PIXXIE! I would have done the exact same thing!! dr's i find do not understand out WORRIES,ACHES, OR FRUSTRATIONS.. espeially after we have experienced a loss..im so glad you got your peace of mind.!!! and 11 weeks.!! that is unreal. were you basing your 10 weeks since your LMP?? what a bonus.. i dream of something like that happeneing with me....

so thursday is my big day.. we are going to hear the heartbeat.. and if she can't detect one. she will bring in the US machine regardles.. i am soooooo hopeful..i just want this baby to live. i am 10 weeks today!!! based on LMP.!!! hooray.. please keep your fingers crossed for me.. im so worried, but so excited.!!

okay so my update.!! saw bay yesterday at 10wks 2 days!! everything looks good, HB between 1550-160

im so happy, she said at this stage a miscarriage is very unlikely!!!! i loved hearing those words!!!

anything new with you? any more scans? i lovved the pic of your babe!!! i wish my scan yesterday was clear...it was a cheap one b/c she couldnt hear heartbeat with doppler..so couldnt see shape as much as yours.!!! well keep in touch

Trusts-thats fantastic!!!!! AFM no new scans, my ob appointment isnt till tuesday and i am hoping that i get another scan shortly after that since I will be almost 12 weeks or just about 12 weeks. I know how you feel though about hearing those words, when i got told that the baby looked fantastic at the hospital at 11 weeks I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulder. I will post after my ob appointment to let you know all that is going on.

Hey Trusts! Well no 12 week ultrasound for me since I had one at 11 weeks, oh well, but I did hear the little ones heatbeat today!!! The OB was telling me how she thought it was a little girl because of how fast and strong it was. I pray she is right. I have another appointment on the 30th so I am already counting down cause at that point I would be about 16 weeks and should be able to find out what I am having.
