The doctor who performed my d & c said that we could start trying again whenever we felt ready but my family doctor suggested we wait three cycles. I didn't listed and have been ttc ever since but with no luck. Waiting on my second AF now.

So sorry for your loss and best of luck to you!
You said you waited two Afs before trying again. How many days apart were your cycles? My first cycle came 36 days after the m/c and am current;y waiting for my second AF and it is CD 30 and still no sign so I am thinking another 36 day cycle this time around? Or did you stay regular?

Kitten

I just miscarried on March 2. It happened naturally and I would have been just 7 weeks that day. We are starting right away. Hoping to not have AF for another nine months!

It took 41 days for my first AF to come and 31 days on the second I believe. My next cycle that I got pregnant on I ovulated on cd15 like usual. So it took to that 3rd cycle to get back to normal. I was glad we waited not only for physical recovery but also mentally. I squeezed in all the things I loved doing that i wouldn't be able to do while pregnant - sushi, wine, painting the house, etc.

Good luck to you! I charted even when I wasn't ttc so I could know when I ovulated and had an idea when AF would show. Made me feel like I had control over something.

oohlala - are you charting? how long are your usual cycles? I think we will be on a similar track since we had our mc's around the same time.

Chi -

So sorry for your loss. How far along were you? I have never done temps, but used opks since we started TTC. I was only on my second month off the pill when I got pregnant so I didn't really have time to get to know my cycle. My first was only 24 days which seemed way shorter than I remember them before birth control. The second month I ovulated CD17, which makes a little more sense as I think my cycles were around 30 days in length.

I just bought some opks to use this month as I am curious as to when (if) I will ovulate. We should compare notes if you are doing the same.

Btw, are you still spotting? Seems as though every time I think I am done it starts back up again, though today was my longest spell without anything.
