Rainbow Babies??

Hey this might make me look silly but i see people talking about rainbow babies on here what are they???xxx

Someone has a really great sig line with an explanation but basically a rainbow baby is reflective of how a rainbow appears after a storm, so even though it was dark and cloudy and stormy, eventually the rainbow comes out. So a rainbow baby comes after a m/c or loss.

I also love the term "rainbow baby". Shortly after my m/c I did experience a literal thunderstorm, then went for a walk, saw a rainbow and immediately looked down and saw a baby bottle by the side of the path. Now I have my DS.

I did lose my DS's twin so I guess my next baby will also be a rainbow baby of sorts.
