Any been on doxycycline? Advice please x

Hi , I've just has my first period after d&c and wanting to TTC this month. About 3 weeks ago I was prescribed doxycycline, I only took 4 days worth and stopped as come out in rash. I know is definitely a big NO NO to take in pregnancy but what about taking it couple weeks before conception? Would this effect the baby in any way? I've looked everywhere on Internet and there's only information on it while you are actually pregnant. I haven't taken this antibiotic for bout 2 weeks now and ready to ttc in next 2 but this is worrying me. Im desperate for a baby, lost 1 at 36 weeks in july due to placenta abruption and another at 10 weeks, missed miscarrage on 21st feb.i just dont want to put a potential baby at risk. Maybe im over thinking I don't know,Any advice would be appreciated ladies xxxx

Have you asked your doctor about this? Seems like it is something to bring up with your
Dr., the best one to advise you. Good luck.

I'd look up the half life of doxycycline and see how long it takes to leave your system. Also follow up with a doctor.

I had to start BP meds a few weeks ago. I made sure they knew I was planning on getting pregnant, so they would use a pregnancy safe one. Is there another antibiotic they could give you? I think they gave me that, but in the second tri, as it's okay then. I'm allergic to Penicillin, so there's not much they can give me that is pregnancy safe for antibiotics.
