BFP but is it real??? PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi All,

I just took a home pregnancy test and it was positive!! However, i had surgery 6 weeks ago for an ectopic pregnancy. During the pregnancy I got my 'period' each month right on time (so did realise right away that I was pregnant) so I was quite surprised that I haven't yet had a period since the surgery. Despite being told to not try again for a few months my husband and I haven't used protection. I would have thought that my hcg levels would have dropped very quickly having had the foetus surgically removed. Do you think I'm pregnant or is this a false positive?? Has anyone else experienced anything like this?? I wont be able to see my doctor for at least a week so any advice would be gratefully received.

A few weeks after my miscarriage I got a positive pregnancy test. I kept testing every day and the line got lighter each day until it disappeared. I suggest u keep testing every day to see if the line gets lighter or darker. Hopefully it will get darker for u. Good luck
