Can anyone help? No AF after missed miscarriage

Hi all,
I am new to this site. I had a MMC on 17th Feb and ERPC on 20th Feb. It will be 7 weeks this Mon since my op. I bled for exactly a week. Hormone levels were back to zero 2 weeks after MMC. Hubby and I decided we did not want to wait and have been TTC since the bleeding stopped. Started using OPK's a few weeks ago and think I had a positive 18th March (3 weeks ago). Yesterday, I noticed I had very light brown discharge (only a small amount). I thought it was finally the start of my AF. Since then, I have had nothing. Dont feel like I am starting AF. Boobs are a little sore. Done a HPT (clearblue digital) yesterday morning and got a BFN
Just wondered if anyone has been through the same thing and how long it took to either get your AF after MMC or a BFP?
Thanks x

Hi, I am sorry for your loss.

i had MMC in july 09 and had D &C - my first AF was 5 weeks and 4 days.
This year i had a MMC in Jan and gave birth to my LO on 12-1-12 - my first AF returned 6 weeks and 1 day after this.

If you are worried maybe you should see you GP, just to check all is ok.

After my first AF we waited for one AF before trying again, i then got BFP the next month and had my little boy in May 10.

Best of luck for you rainbow baby. xx

Thank you for your reply. I'm so sorry for your losses.
I think I will wait another week or so and if AF still hasn't shown, I will see my GP. xx

Hiya. Sorry u r having to go through all this. Don't know of you've seen any of my other posts. I had MMC in Nov last year and erpc in December. Had only a days bleeding after op and got -ve pg test 7 days after op. I'm still awaiting AF. I have seen a consultant for High blood pressure who also checked by doing an internal that nothing was blocked (to rule out ashermans) and all seemed ok to her. Doctor sent me for blood tests to check everything such as thyroid, follicle, checking for pre menopause hormones. Go for results on Thursday 12th. But I've started taking agnus castus a week and half ago now. I don't know if this is helped but I think I ovulated for the first time since erpc on Wednesday/Thursday last week so am just waiting for af/bfp in a couple of weeks. I don't know if this was coincidence that the agnus helped or if things were starting themselves but I would recommend it. But if u r worried I'd speak to your doctor. He was a lot more receptive than I expected him to be.
Hugs to u and good luck x
