This is my first post though I have been reading the blogs for quite some time. I had been trying to conceive for a little while when to my surprise I got a BFP in January of this year. Within a week of confirmation from the doctor I began miscarrying. It started with terrible back pain, then terrible cramping and then bleeding. The miscarriage began on March 4th and the bleeding lasted about 5 days. I was only about 5 and a half weeks along and did not need a D&C. The doctor told me that I could start trying again but that I may find it could take a few months to become regular again. Over Easter weekend I was feeling unusually tired and just to put my mind to rest I took a digital HPT and to my absolute SHOCK I got my BFP!!!! The test says that I am 2 - 3 weeks from conception which means I ovulated and conceived within 2 weeks of my miscarriage. So far I am feeling well and hope that this little one is a sticky one. I just want to give hope to you all that it is possible to get pregnant shortly after a miscarriage. Good luck to you all and lots and lots of baby dust!!
