Ovary pain

I really wish I knew what was going on! So frustrating!

I had my 3rd d&c (all three for the same pregnancy) five weeks ago. Everything went well this time (they also did a hysteroscopy) and my levels a few days later were down to 0. Two weeks after the procedure I had intense pain and cramping in my left ovary and I figured I might be ovulating. Two weeks later I started cramping, with the pain mainly coming from the left again. But then nothing. No bleeding and just continued mild left sided pain. What the heck is going on!

I called the doctor this morning, but I can't get in until May 1st. Is this normal? Anyone have any experience with Asherman's syndrome? I really just want this to all be over with.

Oh, yeah, home pregnancy test. Ha ha. No, I haven't. But, a new pregnancy is not possible at this moment (unfortunately). The doctor for the last surgery told me to wait at least 3 cycles because of the "trauma".

Hi so sorry you have has to go through all this, I read your post and had to reply.
I had a stillborn daughter last July at 36 weeks. I also had to have s d&c in august due to retained placenta.Ever since then I've been getting the exact same left sided pain. It's so sharp sometimes it takes my breath away. There's always a niggling pain on my left side but gets really sharp and intense round ovulation. I got my BFP on new years day this year and was so happy going to get my rainbow. I still got left sides pain which resulted in early scan but it did ease a little. Unfortunately I had a mmc at 10 weeks. Opted for d&c and ever since the pain has come back with a vengeance! I've seen gyno consultanted who thinks I either have endometriosis or scar tissue. I'm worried this was the cause of my placenta abruption in July and recently my mmc.consultant has now said she is going to do laporoscopy I'm just waiting on my appointment to come through. Desperate to ttc but worried about this pain so I've decided to wait for operation and see what happens. Is your pain constant? I've also had scan done on Ovaries to check for cysts but didn't show anything apart from mature folicle coz I was ovulating. Hope we both get to the bottom of this and get out rainbows soon xxx

So soorry to hear about your loss. I hope you get answers soon.

I called the gynecologist again today and the secretary told me to come in on Monday as she was worried about infection as I've had so many recent surgeries. I honestly don't think it's an infection---I'm thinking scar tissue. The pain is not really constant. It came for a few days when I thought I might be ovulating, and then again two weeks later. I also had this same pain intermittently throughout the six months I was dealing with this miscarriage. I know the last ultrasound showed a small cyst on one ovary, but I was told this was fairly normal. My appointment on Monday better give me some answers or I'm going to go crazy!

Best of luck with your follow up. I'd love to hear what you find out.

I had what I thought was ovulation pain (though I've never really had it before). It started over a week ago and it's still here. It's also on my left. I called the OB, but they told me to wait until Monday and call back if it doesn't go away. I'm in the TWW now, so hopefully it's nothing serious.

Isn't that strange! I'm guess I'm glad it's not just me. I'm also going in on Monday---they'd better not tell me to just wait another few weeks.
