How exciting blue!!!! I have to admit that I am going to miss being home. I am going to miss my babies!!!
But the benefits are awesome compared to what we have, there is 80% tuition reimbursement, $500 per person in my family for massages/accupuncture and lots of opportunities for advancement!!!! I am afraid being home for a few years will make it very hard to get a decent job. BUT I am still sad about leaving my babies....
Remember me???? I know, it's been that long. Sorry I've been MIA, but just don't seem to have the time these days to get on here. Hope all of you are doing well.
Blue - did I read correctly?? You're TTCing again? Good luck chick! Hope you get that soon!
We're doing fine. Coco is already one, unreal!! Super fun times with her personality coming out more and more these days. But at the same time, it feels like time is just flying by...how did my baby grow up so fast??..
Much love to you all ...I'll try not to be MIA for so long again....
Neffie, Happy Belated Valentine's Day! So glad you and Coco are well! Yeah, time does go by fast! Is there any talk in your house of another baby?
Blue, how is the TTC going?
Try, how is work going? If I had the opportunity to be a stay at home mom, I don't think I could go back to work until they were all in school! Did they adjust okay to the change?
I've been meaning to come on here and update about the twins but seeing the specialist every week I was expecting different news from them to share with you. So Baby A is my big girl, she had over 10cm of amniotic fluid and baby B is my smaller girl (about 20% smaller) with about 3 cm of amniotic fluid. So they went ahead and classified the pregnancy as early stage 1 TTTS (twin to twin transfusion) . Its when there's a blood vessel from one baby's umbilical cord that goes through the placenta to the other baby's umbilical cord which can be an imbalance of blood flow/nutrition. Not to mention, baby B's umbilical cord attached to edge of the placenta which is not enriched with blood ad the center is.
So I am being monitored weekly. Three weeks ago they saw baby A's heart was showing signs of hypertension. They thought it might be caused by too much amniotic fluid around her causing her heart to work harder so we tried an amnio reduction. It didn't reverse it but it was worth the try. Last week I wet to a pediatric cardiologist who discovered that baby A's tricuspid valve isn't fully developed and her pulmonary valve/artery is too small circumference wise. That's what's causing the hypertension. So the plan now is wait and rescan at 32wks in hopes her heart will mature more. If not, medical intervention when she's born.
So this whole pregnancy worrying about baby B b.c she was so small and the cord insertion now its baby A that really has the challenge. But we're just taking it week by week and praying for the best.
Tiger - you're on number 2... and 3!!! Congrats, hoping they're doing well even with difficulties.
Hey Neffie! How are you doing - loving being a Mum?!!
Try - your job sounds great, I'm sure you'll enjoy aving the odd coffee in peace back at work.
Blue - go girl!
AFM - am surprisingly 8 weeks pg! Unplanned and crappy timing as OH made redundant last month but here we go again... lst scan showed sac but nothing else - possibly too early, possibly just too old? Have to admit it's all starting to screw with my head again this week and just need to know if I need to get all my pg and baby clothes back from those I gave them to or not?
