Hi ladies I'm now panicking I want to get the twins bed all set up but was wondering do I only need one crib? I am limited for space and hoping putting both in together will be ok, what do you ladies do?

Our twins have 2 separate rooms set up currently. But we will be putting them both together in one room for the first couple months in the same crib. My DH doesnt want them separated right away.

I think you will eventually need 2 cribs. I think they'll do fine together in 1 crib in the beginning.

One cot in the beginning is fine but you'll need two eventually. Our twins lying across the width of the bed leaving the other corner very empty
Eventually they'll be head to tail in that one cot. Once we move in May next year they'll get their own beds in a room they'll share a few years.

We have an 'arms reach co sleeper' which they will go in together until they are too big. Then we have 2 cots in their room.

I might look into to co sleeper, I had my dd in bed with me but wouldn't risk it with twins but in a co sleeper that might be better

Our girls slept in the same crib in our room until they were 4 1/2 or 5 months old. They did great and honestly they slept so much better that way! Since putting them in their own cribs I rarely get a full nights sleep. It's been an adjustment but we are sticking to it. I have their cribs head to head in their room.

You will find what works best for your twins and for you. If something doesn't work for a few nights try something different. They will let you know in someway what it is that they want.
