Right handed and left handed identical twins

I think I have one of each, could this be the case with identical twins?

I looked at this but their internal organs are on the sane side and I read something that one would have their organs on the opposite side to the other.

Left or right handedness is completely random so your twins could be the same or different, in the same respect they might enjoy different food or personalities. I don't think didi's IDs can be mirror image as mirror image twins split very late on as opposed to very early for didi IDs.

this with organs is a myth, there is no such thing in nature, at least not in humans (the snails can have their external skeletons turn in both directions but most of them are left-turned). the mirror image thing is more like for larger somatic traits, like ie. one left-handed, other right-handed, ones hair falls on left side, the others on the right side and so on. but i think it's more of a curious coincidence in some details rather than a real medical phenomenon.

I am not sure what handed my identical twins are yet, but one is favoring the left more and one the right, i would not be surprised if they ended up opposites. I looked this up because i was curious as well and about 18% of identical twins are opposite handed.

Sometimes trauma during the birth process can make a baby left handed as the brain compensates (I'm a left-hander and I was a preemie, my own preemie is a left-hander too).

Were your girls born early?

I wouldn't quite agree with this... One of my friends has her heart on the 'wrong' side. It's called dextrocardia. There is also a condition where all of your main organs are reversed/mirrored - try googling situs inversus. Enrique Iglesias and Donnie Osmond have this according to Wikipedia.

That being said, I know absolutely nothing about twins, so can't comment about the mirror thing

I heard the occurrence is much greater in twins. My girls are fraternal and one is left-handed and the other right-handed. My cousin had triplets (a boy and two girls); and her daughters are the same - one left and one right-handed. I truly believe there is a link! My girls are nothing alike either, one dark and one fair etc. But yet they are different-handed
