Anyones twins missed on 8 week scan?

Ok I know this is probably HIGHLY unlikely given that I've already had like 5 scans....
BUT, do they ever miss a twin?
I swear I just heard heartbeats on BOTH sides of my 'bump'
Coupled with the fact I popped way before 12 weeks and have been feeling 10 times rougher than I ever have when I've been pregnant before, its got me wondering!
Plus, my HCG was 11000 at 5+2 but I dunno if thats considered high or not?

When I had early scans they saw what they thought was either a bleeding area or a 2nd sac, at 8 weeks there was no sign of it and she had a good look round to make sure.

WHat do you guys think, crazy pregnant lady?? lol

I had mine at nine weeks, and it was so obvious they were in there..Sorry hon

I had a scan at 6 weeks and it was obvious - I was also told that the placenta can sound like a heartbeat too xx

Yeah I've seen scan pics where its obvious, just wondered if anyone had had it missed on early scans.

i had an apt with my gyn and he was really late, when he got there he had told me he was delievering babies but he or the other OB's didnt know there were 2 babies. he said when he went to get the placenta out during c section he had felt another baby in there....no 1 knew the lady was having twins because it was "hiding" behind the other

Its easier to miss as the babies get bigger but I doubt its easy at 8 weeks! I had a scan at 6 weeks and there was two sacs and only 1 baby then 8 weeks two babies.
