MY GIRLS are doing wonderfully The technician felt sure that they are both girls and so I feel confident enough to start thinking of them that way.
Baby A is head down and has nestled very low into my pelvis. She's in the same position as last time and this is very encouraging news, because her position is the most important in determining if I need a c-section of not. It also explains some of the pelvic pressure I have been feeling.
Baby A's heart rate was 152 bpm and is measuring 12oz.
Baby B is also in the same position as last time and is head up and much higher than Baby A. She spent most of the time nestled face-first into my side as if trying to ignore her sister kicking from below.
Baby B's heart rate was 151bpm and is measuring 13oz.
The technician asked if I've had any bleeding or leaking of amniotic fluid lately and I said know. I don't know if that's standard procedure to ask or if she saw something to prompt those questions. I asked her if she could see my cervix length and she said it looked normal to her. I'm not worried, but am curious to hear what my doctor says on Tuesday.
Pics of the girls!
Baby A: I think this one is interesting, because you can actually see the membrane that separates the twins right up against her face.
Baby A's gender shot - a textbook girl image, the tech said
Baby B: You can see parts of Baby A's foot and leg kicking towards Baby's head.
Baby B's gender shot - not as clear as Baby A's, but the tech said she did lots of looking from every angle and didn't find anything boyish
