think it just depends on wether they would like to say or not but you can see at this point, i had a scan on thursday was 16+ but she just said wait until your 20 week to be sure. got another on monday i;ll be 17 weeks hopefully they tell me then
They might give you an idea but be reluctant to commit I think they are so scared of getting it wrong and being sued.
I had to ask at 20wk scan she showed me a potty shot on screen of little boy and said well what do you think lol the huge bulge in the middle was a dead give away lol. The other one was hard to tell she was 90% sure its a girl but legs were crossed and tucked under bum so she's said while pretty sure it is a girl but didn't want to commit 100%. I told her I'd wait till next scan before buying pink but my gut instincts have been saying boy/girl from the start so I'm sure it will be correct.
I was convinced that I was having boy/girl so got a very big shock when they told me that I am having 2 boys, I'm still not totally convinced that they got it right! will be asking them to check again at the next scan
