Congrats on making it this far I am bout the same as before still sore and tired and each day gets worse except there's more of an acceptance of it all and I just deal with it now and take each day as it comes

Getting nervous about the birth now! What about you? How are you feeling at 36 weeks? much different from 34?

Feeling tired due to lack of sleep.
Cant get comfortable in bed anymore so usually takes me about 2hrs to get to sleep.
Im nervous but looking forward to meeting my munchkins.
Theyre roughly 5lb 5oz each now so quite heavy in the front. Everyone has bets that im gonna fall over once theyre out haha.
Ive finally learnt how to take things easy and use the help im offered.
MIL is staying with us for the next 6 weeks also so she's helping heaps with our girls.
Everyday i wake up and get painful tightenings i wonder if this will be the day.

How are your bubs doing?

Yay 36 weeks! Well done you! I was induced at 36+ 3 cos when I went for an antenatal check up, the consultant checked and found that I was 3 cm dilated (without even feeling it) so they induced me a few days early. Are your twins fraternal? I totally remember the lack of sleep at this stage. I actually slept on ,y reclining sofa the last few weeks of pregnancy as I couldnt lie flat, it was too painful. You've done really well, not long left now x

Oh you got some great weights there and that's great you have some extra help

My babies are doing good last scan a week ago they were estimated 4.9 lbs and 5.4 lbs eek! I often wonder how I will feel when they come out and if I will lose my balance. I am often stumbling all over the show cos I just cant seem to get used to the extra weight lately!
I get those painful tightenings too, the past few days especially but am hoping to hold out just another couple of weeks So have been resting as much as I can!

Yay shopping. Always one thing i am never to tired to do haha.

My partner and his work mates (mixed genders) arranged a suprise baby shower last weekend for me and we got loads of clothes. I wont need to be buying more anytime soon.

Ive taken to the lazy boy a couple of times this pregnancy, i couldnt get comfy there either but i did it so my partner could get some sleep. Feel bad when all im doing is wriggling around trying to get comfortable with no success.

Yep my two are fraternal. At our 18 week scan the sonographer said 2 boys but at the 24 week one we were told that Twin A was possibly a girl. Thankfully weve been able to get it confirmed that that twin A is a boy not girl so glad to have that sorted before they arrive. Didnt want to pass on all my girls clothes and then they arrive and ones a girl!

Lucky that you can eat chocolate! I think i might have over done it on the chocolate and now i cant stomach it

And i understand about the crying, i have moments where someone tells me something and i just start bawling. Partner calls and hes what the hells wrong with you now haha

Lol I been crying lots too I think I spent two days last week just sobbing at everything and I don't even know why. I sat in my car and cried in the supermarket carpark too and what set that off was thinking about the birth hehehe

Glad you got the gender thing sorted ste4mer From the sounds of it I think we are really lucky over here to be able to ask what the genders are at later scans. I know a lot of places over seas will say no.

Fidgets mammy - I still love shocking people with the whole twin thing. I get comments like "ohh you must be due any day now" and I'm like haha not even close!

Bless you it is agony the last few weeks. I made it to 34 +4 but my babies needed to be delivered early cos my little boy was losing weight. I wanted to make it further obviously to help my little boy, but honestly I was in so much pain I just wanted the pregnancy to be over and done with. I must have got out of bed about 20 times a night for the toilet or just to walk about because my circulation was so poor.

Ironically as soon as they were born I missed being pregnant I missed my bump and you forget the pain quickly.

Advice wise, I can't really give any other than try and rest as much as you can. I was still trying to do normal everyday things like the hoovering and finding I couldn't breathe! I had to learn to just sit down and let my OH do things for me instead of being a million miles an hour. But it takes a strong woman to carry two so you have done fab, just get your feet up girl xx
