menstrual cramps??

Im 29 weeks pregnant with twins and since last night Ive been feeling menstrual cramping - is this normal?? hope its not a sign of preterm labor...

Hi Sara - I did have this from 20wks until 34wks, and still went to term with the twins. My bh contractions and cramps came almost every day, lasted a few hrs and happened 3/4 time per hour. They weren't usually painful, but I was left with back ache afterwards.

It was ok in my case, and is very common with twins, but it can't hurt to get yourself checked out hun. It always pays to be cautious. In the meantime rest, drink water and lie on your left side - this usually helped mine to subside

I've had cramps on and off and still do. My doctors had me come in, but they said it was just my body's reaction to the growing and stretching. If you are unsure call your doctor, but there's a good chance everything's okay.

thanks for ur response - i went to the dr and got it checked out - luckily it was nothing - just normal twins pregnancy stuff. google is the devil!!
