You look great arj

CaliGirl, no it was my second pregnancy and I'm 5'8. I fell pregnant with the twins just 11 months after having my son. I was the same size with him at the end as I was with the twins. I've got a very long torso and one of the twins was breech so I had a head rammed up in my ribs (ouchy!) so they were quite stretched out, I'd imagine x

Oooh rammed into the ribs! Nasty. But at least he wasnt going outward... Its kinda one or the other isnt it, they gotta go somewhere! Did you have a natural or C sec birth?
And what was the weight of your singleton and your twins?

Natural birth at 40 weeks (on his due date!) with Henry, my singleton - 4lb 13.

Natural birth at 37+4 with my twin daughters Liliah and Tallulah, partially induced (I was already 5cm!) - 4lb 13 and 4lb 14.

So none of them were big babies but even so, you wouldn't have thought 10lb of baby was in my tummy with the twins!

Wow so the twins were the same weight pretty much as your singleton and earlier than him! Hope that's not the case with me....

That's unusual tho arj, I've not seen it before.

Don't worry, whatever the weights, it's a relatively short lived period in your life, and your body will adapt and get back to normal fairly quickly afterwards. You'll be so busy when they're born that the weight will fall off xxx

kaz- no wonder you were tiny!

Liz- I know your right.. lol, but I still worry. In the end, I just want them to be healthy!!

arj- are you going to try for a natural birth, or do you plan on a c-section?

I plan on natural again, but obviously a C section would be necessary if twin A is breech, will wait and see. I dont mind either way really. I just dont want a natural delivery with an episiotomy with the 1st baby then emergency C sec for the second!!!
