midwife appointment today

I went to see my midwife today, everything was fine no worries but she measured my bump. I am 25 wks and my bump is measuring 27 where normally its usually 4-5 wks over. Is this normal? I have a growth scan next wk so will see if twins are growing ok, I'm not overly worried just wanted to know if anyone has experience of this Thanks ladies xx

I just had my MW appt today too, like you everything is normal, and Im 21 weeks yesterday but measuring 31 fundal height! I'm slightly worried about babies getting too big too fast and going into labour too early because they just wont fit!!

Obviously I cant help you with the advice on growth, but I have learned that there is a big bracket of 'normal' when it comes to twins!

Hopefully we even out and have normal healthy babies at term! Let us know how the scan goes.

Oh and also my mw said the fundal height can depend on if babies are side by side or on top of each other. I carry really long, and can feel kicks way up high, almost under my boobs sometimes! Where do you get most of your kicks?

Well Twin 1 (girl) is squashed to my left side upwards I think, so i get kicking mainly in my left side and ribs, Twin 2(boy) is in the middle, i feel like sometimes i get movement to my right side and sometimes in my stomach (weird sensation) but I guess it depends if he is lying across or upwards. He is gentle and she is just on the move always and is a bit heavy footed lol

You must feel huge, 10 wks over, I actually feel comfortable right now, unless I have some sort of growth spurt.

I never had my measurements taken as they said with twins it's just not accurate, try not to worry, hopefully your scan next week will show everything is ok. There have been ladies on here with smallish bumps and healthy babies. xx
