HELP please. My BBT is going down......bad sign?

My Ovulation Chart

Any help would be appreciated. Ok so click on the link or pic to take a look at my ovulation chart. My temps have gone down for the last 3 days and today I am 9dpo and temps are back in the 96s. Is this a bad sign that my temps aren't staying up? I'm guessing I'll be getting a BFN next week. What do you guys think?

Yes first cycle charting. So what makes you say AF is on the way? Just curious so I can keep an eye out each month.

Your temps usually begin to drop as the progesterone (which causes high temps and is needed to maintain a PG) starts to drop, which then causes AF to arrive.

If you have 18 days of high temps it's usually a good sign of pregnancy.

Is it normal for temps to drop a week before AF arrives?

It depends how long your LP (luteal Phase) is usually. It should be around 12-14 days. So it's not a week till AF is due it's probably about 3 to 4 days - progesterone peaks at 7DPO then starts to drop if there is no PG to maintain

First month charting is a learning curve. There is a chance it might go back up but until you have something to compare it too it's all guess work.

Usually if it's an implantation dip it's a sudden drop and high rise the next day.

When your temp dips below coverline, it's usually a pretty good indication that AF will be following shortly. Not always, but most of the time. If you're temp goes back up tomorrow, then no worries. If AF does start soon, though, you might have a LP defect, but charting for several cycle will reveal better patterns.

Hi there,
It's hard to know what your LP is, as this is your 1st month charting. Like the other girls said, an average LP is 12-14 days. I am hoping it could be an implantation dip The embryo can implant anywhere from 6-12 days after ovulation, and 9dpo is perfect. Hope you get your BFP!!!

Thanks for the positivity Wendy. I'm thankful for everyone's input.

Maybe there is still hope for a BFP
