Wasn't TTC. Can changing BC pills cause preg symptoms???
Okay. So. Here's my tale. Pull up a chair! OH, you're already on one? Perfect!
I am now on week three of my pill pack. I ended up being 4 days late starting it because the pharmacy LOST MY PRESCRIPTION. I do not have a doctor anymore as she retired but thankfully I found a script written by another doctor for a BC pill with the same hormones as my old one, but a different brand name.
well 4 days in to the pack i forgot a pill. And hubby and I had just had sex 2 times the day before. I've been getting cramps very randomly ever since and last night I had to stop having sex as my cervix hurt so bad. I also woke up with nausea this morning.
I can;t test for another week but I'm just wondering.. should I be concerned??? Or as I've read online, changing BC pills can cause some weird uterus stuff.. BUT.... BUT... Since it's the exact same hormonal bc *different brand name* would that even apply??????
Its possible- definately! Even if it has the same hormones- it may have diff amounts. Then again- its also poss that you did conceive. I've got 3 kids- all of whom were conceived on the pill. Happy accidents. If you are due in a week- it IS early to test- but stranger things than an early BFP have happened.
Oh dear. I am actually thinking of getting off the pill for good as I had an unexpected pregnancy last year (I did NOT miss ANY pills) but unfortunately it ended in a MC I would definitely not be upset to be pregnant. Just very unexpected.
I will let you know what the test say! I might take one tomorrow morning, it is just a dollar store one but might as well give it a shot.
And that is what I thought!! That they might have different AMOUNTS of hormones. Glad I was not too off base with that.
Hmm apparently the pill I WAS on and the pill I am now on have the same exact stuff and should be the precise same amounts in each. So maybe the symptoms I've been having aren't from that. I keep getting sporadic cramps in my left and sometimes right side. Feel like typical period cramps but not as painful.
I dunno. I didn't realize I was pregnant last time until I was way over 8 weeks because I was using the pill perfectly and had no reason to think I was preggo. So I have nothing to compare this to.
