HELP! Bright red blood & clots after 2 BFPs!

I got my 2 bfps on first responce tests at 14 DPO (4 days ago) and the next day I started having a brown stringy discharge (sorry tmi) and it only lasted like 2 hours and no more spotting the rest of the day. Then the next day, the 1st day of my missed period, in the middle of the day I had a little more brown discharge that turned into bright red with small clots! And I know this isnt my period. My period has been the same forever, the normal heavy flow with dark red blood. But what im experiencing now is a light flow (not even enough to fill a pad half way in a days time) but im very worried this is my second day of bleeding bright red with clots. I've heard some women experience bleeding in early pregnancy and go on and have a full term, healthy baby. But it really worries me! Im not experiencing any cramping besides yesterday but it was very light cramping down low by my cervix and before that I didnt have any AF cramps which defiantly isnt normal, I always have bad cramps atleast 2 days before AF so I know this isnt my period! Is this normal girls, im scared to death im having a MC.. Any advice would greatly be appreciated!

I had a miscarriage earlier this year and when the bleeding started it wasn't painful at all. It was only after a few days that the pain came. I was a lot further along than you though. I'd suggest you should go see a doctor as soon as possible. You will still get positive pregnancy tests during a miscarriage.

I hope we're all wrong though - some women do continue their periods during pregnancy.

The only way to know what is happening is to get a blood test ASAP then get a repeat in 48hrs time. If your hcg doubles, all is well - if it falls you are having a miscarriage. If it fails to double or increase enough, you will get another blood test another 48hrs later.
Most hospitals have an early pregnancy support clinic which is open at weekends - could you phone them and arrange a blood test?
