Feeling so lost

Nightmare few days :'(

So yesterday I got my bfp... Was overjoyed so was my oh but was anxious as had cramping and brown spotting.. Woke up this morning with a lot of blood so was in tears and so upset.. Went to emergency docs and they said could be m/c or might not be but they can't be sure.. So am booked in for an emergency appointment at the gynaecology clinic.. I'm convinced I've lost it though cos still bleeding and cramping though not as much. I was so so happy yesterday and now it's all shit xxx

I'm so sorry you've gone from such joy to now wondering if it's a miscarriage. Try to hang in there until you know more from your appointment. I hope you get some answers soon and that everything will be ok. I'm sending you lots of hugs!!!

I just wanted to say that I have the utmost sympathy for you, and from one human being to another I wanted to extend my heartfelt condolences.

Life is a fickle thing, and at times we can be thankful for the sporadic nature of things but when it comes to procreation and the desire to copulate I would say the exact opposite.

When I'm feeling down I try and do the following, I create a graph over the past year and I look at the days individually, day by day, and then the week, and the month, and so on. I take the time to reflect on all the positives, negatives, and even neutrals that have occurred over these times. The one thing I can almost guarantee is that while life may have it's ups and downs when we look at it in the whole, it begins to appear much more stable. With natural curves, and periods of calm, so to speak. I hope this makes sense. I think ultimately what I am trying to articulate is that; while you may feel down now, you will be looking back at this day, one day, hopefully soon.. and smiling. Hopefully with a little bundle of joy in your arms.

Warm wishes to you and your family.

What a sweet thing to say

I'm sorry too, I just can't put it quite this eloquently.

I just wanted to pop in and say dont give up hope. I had bleeding multiple times very early on and a really large gush of blood at 9wks, and I am still very much pregnant. Blood is scary I know, we are programmed to automatically think blood means bad when ttc because of our horrible time waiting to see if AF shows up.

But just wanted to say that one thing I have learned through my experiences and with having multiple scans early on, bleeding can actually be a pretty common thing. Its definitely more common than I ever thought.

Good luck with the scan, am crossing my fingers and toes for you xx

I hope its not an M/C.

It sound similar to the situation we were in, Af was 4 days late, & then 2 days later I bled and had from then on.

Its still a traumatic event because one moment you are on a high because you know you are pregnant & the next minute its just gone & its like everything's ruined.
The doctors can be very unsympathetic about it to. Chemical pregnancies are no joke.

Make sure you update us all hun x
