I'm currently 1dpo and undecided when i will test, i am due af 13th august so i was thinking no sooner than the 12th for me, but this is my first month off bcp so af could be a few days sooner or later, i have little hope i concieved this month as me and oh dtd way to much over the past week and i have read too much sex doesnt give the best sperm quality but i live in hope i'd like to think it will work
Yes I am!
I will also test on the 12th! ... if i can wait that long. I tend to test WAAAY TOOO EARLY. haha. It's just so tempting!
I am unsure of this month though because my silly husband went and had a CRAZY HOT bath 4 nights ago... UGH. Hopefully it didnt kill all of his little swimmers!
Will you use internet cheapies or a brand test when you test??
Ahh yey im glad someone else is 1dpo, i will find it hard not to test to early lol i probably will end up testing on that weekend haha just internet cheapies and i have frers as back up if i got a positive on a cheapie.
I am worried we bd far too much but i still have a little hope.
I have 3 FRERs at home. I don't use ICs... despite the ridiculously high price of the FRER, i have seen too many people get so disappointed with false BFPs and being run around with evaps. Besides, the high price stops me from peeing on 6 sticks a day haha (I totally would if I could).
My hubby and I dtd tonight and he hit my cervix (ouch!). I used OPKs which said I ovulated... but I have heard that your cervix should be high when fertile?? Hopefully that isnt a bad sign...
Sometimes my oh hits my cervix it just depends how deep he goes, i just stick to ic as i am saving up for xmas and a baby so just to make things easier and i am also interested in clearblue ovulation tests for next cycle if i dont manage to concieve this month, i used cheapie ovulation tests and they were great i just really wana see a smiley once lol
We are ttc #1 also, this is my first month and i am totally oblivious but learning loads of new things lol
Yeah when i made the thread i realised i a was in the wrong section haha not with it today, well im sure you will have time later when you get home from work, i have found a few things to do to kill time until sunday now so thats a bit better i probably wont think about the tww as much although the oh will probably bring it up from time to time he likes to talk about the future alot its sweet i am going to bring it up with oh tonight that around my fertile period we should only bd once a day hes not going to love this idea haha i already told him the more we do it isnt probably doing us any good x
i am also 1dpo and it feels like the next 2wks are going to be a lifetime, i also bd everynight which i have just read increases your chances of conception, especially if you do it from 6 days before o, my hubby always hits my cervix (sorry tmi) but i am hoping this helps.
I will probably test on the 13th if i can help it as i have a tendency to test early in the hope.
I will be using some tests that i got ebay, apparently they are the ones that doctors use.
I read that the more hopeful and optimistic you are the better the chance so here's wising you all the best of luck.
Littlelala- it is addictive isnt it, its only 2.55pm in the uk though lol
Mrscherbert - i feel like its going to be a lifetime aswell lol mine hits my cervix aswell but not all the time, me and my oh are rather active more than once a day sometimes so we nees to cut it down to once a day around ovulation lol i am trying to be as hopeful and optimistic as possible and also trying not to think much about it which is hard lol xx
