Going crazy! Is it worth testing?

So my husband and I are NTNP so I have no idea when I ovulated. My cycles vary between 24-26 days with the occasional 29 day cycle. Hubby and I only had sex on CD 15 and 16 because he's away for work a lot.
So this cycle I started spotting early evening on CD 28 and thought that AF was pretty much here. But my flow never really kicked off. I use a menstrual cup and on day 1 it usually fills up every 8 hrs then every 12 hrs for 2 days then 1 day of spotting. This cycle I didn't even total a cupful in 48 hrs and then it was over.
That was 6 days ago, at what I guess would be 13 and 14 dpo, but I really am not sure.
I have been feeling tired, emotional and gassy for the last 2 weeks and it seems to be getting worse. I also have much more CM than I usually do.
Could I be pregnant?

I would say test at this point as it sounds like the spotting could've been an implantation bleed. The other possibility is that you ovulated later and are having a longer cycle, but the spotting would make me say that's probably not the case.

Good luck!

I would test. Either way it will help you get an idea of what is going on. Good luck!

Update

Well I tested this morning and either there was a ghost of a line or I have line-eye, I am not convinced either way. I have attached a photo if you want to take a look.

Maybe I have line eye too but can definitely see something. Would remain cautiously optimistic and test again in a few days to be sure though.

About the hpt....

I looked online and it turns out the hpt I took is highly unreliable. Here in France many women have had false negatives with this brand, even some with hcg levels at 4 figures! Also many women's GYNs were saying that they had also heard many woman getting false BFNs with this brand.
That really gives me hope! I will buy another hpt (another brand of course!) ASAP!
