Killing time and helping things along!

Hey All!

So I have not Ovd yet but think I will shortly. I felt like I was going crazy in the last TWW and wanted to try to have things to help fill the wait but also maybe help the process of implantation.

Soooo.. I read on here once of somebody who filled the time with making recipes of implantation/fertility friendly foods. But I couldn't find it! So I thought I would start a thread here and please share any foods/recipes that might be beneficial in the TWW!

Also, any other tips of how to help me relax/keep busy during this time would be great! I am up for trying anything!

Alllsooo, feel free to just distract me with any old chatter!

Baby dust to all you wonderful ladies

That might have been me but I didn't really share any proper recipes haha

Avoid citrus while wto

Avoid caffeine entirely while TTC or limit to 100mg/day (other sources say 200mg/day, but they also say "risk of spontaneous abortion increases at 200mg a day" so I prefer to play it safe)

Eat a whole pineapple complete with core over 1-5DPO

I do have a few recipes:

Two Week Wait oatmeal
3-5 medjool dates, chopped
1/4 cup sliced raw almond
2 tbsp raw pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
2 tbsp quinoa
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 cup oatmeal (rolled or steel cut or half and half of each)

Roast Chickpeas
1 cup chickpeas, soaked overnight
Covered in sauce:
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp avocado or peanut oil
1 tbsp honey or cane sugar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Paprika, cumin, black pepper, ginger, and/or garlic powder to taste
Bake at 375°F for about an hour, shaking often

watching this thread with interest i guess any inflammation reducing foods would be good, so lots of meat/fish/veg/fruit/nuts seeds etc

Thanks for the recipes wrapunzel! I eat oatmeal everyday but getting very bored with honey and cinnamon, so might be good to try your suggestion. Although I heard honey and cinnamon were good for TTC.

I'll definitely do the pineapple thing- I love pineapple!

My issue is the caffeine as I am a big black tea drinker- but I have REALLY cut it down to about 3 cups a day of which one I make earl grey and just give it a dunk in the water so doubt there is much caffeine in that.

loveiresong- glad you are tagging along! I love all the foods you suggested so hopefully that will be easy. Thinking of making a batch of soup with lots of veg and seeds. Heard you should only eat warm food in the TWW so what is more warming than soup!

Also, I have started doing 30 mins of yoga and also 10/15 minutes of mindfulness on an app. Hoping that will help relax me and also give me something to try and focus on during the TWW, when it is upon me... It seemed to really relax me yesterday anyway!

I put honey and cinnamon in that oatmeal, it blends in well. Dates and flax are supposed to be good for TTC, as well as oats in general
