What are your TWW Schedules and Distractions?

Hey all,

Today is officially 1 dpo for me and I'm planning to test on 10 dpo (the 30th). So I've got 9 full days to fill up in order to distract myself from thinking about how long this wait will feel. Sooo, I'd love to know how you all are planning to get through it or have gotten through it or made it go by quicker?

Here's what I've got lined up so far: Today is chores/errands day, so I will be cleaning/organizing/grocery-getting/wife-duty-ing today

Other than that, I've got some tax work and marketing work for my business during the week days and I've managed to schedule dinner dates with friends/family on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week... along with an hour workout in the afternoon each day

Any other suggestions that had worked/works best for you during this two week stretch??

Hey KG,

sounds like a great schedule! I have no better ideas for you, I always find it extremely difficult to not try to think about it... the only time it flew by for me was when I was out and about, but seems like you've got a lot of that ground covered

Just wanted to wish you best of luck and a BFP on the 30th xx

Hi KG, i'm currently now 3dpo and hate waiting!!!

I'm actually coming to NY for the bank holiday weekend, so that's my distraction.

However once I'm back I have no idea how i'm going to distract myself, other than keep busy with my two little ones. I think I'll hold out till 11dpo as thats when I tested with my son.

Good Luck!!!

I'm 3dpo and haven't got much planned to distract myself, I'm finding the days so long already.

Natalie, it's really hard isnt it! I wish there was a little button to just switch off in these weeks!

What day will you be testing?

Hey kg! I definitely need to take a leaf out of your book and try distracting myself a bit more I wish I could just go to sleep for two weeks!! I can't stop obsessing! I will plan some stuff for the next 8 days to occupy me.

I'll be testing on Monday which is 8dpo as last cycle my lp was only 9 days. This is only the second time I have ovulated in 3 years thanks to soy isofavlones that I started 3 cycles ago so I spent the past 1.5 temping and using opks on the hope I would ovulate so at least I finally have the chance to be in the tww even if it is torturous lol

Part of me just doesn't want to test this cycle as I've wasted so many tests in previous cycles and I'm sure at is coming this month!
