Are orgasms okay during the 2ww?

This just occured to me. DH and I last night, 9 dpo. I did feel a few cramps afterwards.

I was thinking about this this evening and wondering if having an orgasm could have a negative effect on implantation? Since it causes your uterus to contract?

I haven't been able to find a consensus while Googling this. It seems most doctors say it's okay, but for instance, IVF patients are advised against orgasms.

I'd be really pissed off at myself if I messed up implantation just to get my jollies.

Oh I love you so funny! Ummmm
I orgasm every night so I'm in trouble if that's the case lol
the only thing I've heard regarding orgasms is that it can help the sperm
travel faster (if you orgasm after sex)
wow! Never said orgasm so much in my life haha...

Orgasm....

Thanks girls!

Liz, thanks for the link, it looks I'm not the only one who has been wondering about this the past few days lol. From that thread, it seems like 'everybody's doing it' and well, people keep getting pregnant, so I'm going to try not to worry about it!

I have read that too. I was looking for info regarding the whole legs in the air thing and a how-to on at home insemination came up. It said that you should orgasm after the insemination and then avoid orgasm for 10 days after that! As someone else said, many women have gotten PG without avoiding orgasm!

I've been wondering this but too shy to ask. I hope it doesn't mess up our chances...seems a bit unfair really. I guess the first time I got pregnant I didn't have any O's after we had sex in the middle of my cycle since OH went away for work and then I went on a girls vacation so we didn't see each other at all.
