we are ntnp i am still really early in the tww i think 5 dpo. i have noticed ive been peeing slightly more the difference is one minute im fine the next minute i have to GO like there is almost no warning :/. i know i get this same type of thing just before af comes. but now that i am 5 dpo i am also very tender (i felt some weird stingy cramps earlier and i pressed there) and it is super tender. its just above my pubic bone on the right side. i was shocked with pain when i pushed there. i usually always get some "post-o" cramps but they never leave me tender like this.
besides that i am having random cramping kind of all over around my pubic bone area and have had sore bbs since o day which is very early for me.
i can't remember if we even bd around o time so i am thinking UTI.. what do u girls think? and if it's a UTI what can i do about it besides going to the dr?
Im not sure from your symptoms but if you think you have a uti then the best bet is to go to then doc because otherwise the infection can get into your kidneys, if it is a uti then they will give you antibioitcs. I just remeber when i had my uti i was going to the loo every 10 mins at the most i was in so much pain and peeing blood, good luck to you
If it's uti, you should feel like you have to pee although your bladder is empty and peeing should hurt like burning.
If you think you have UTI you should go to doc and take the med otherwise it can get you in more trouble and you can infect your DH too.
When I had UTI doc gave me an antibiotic which you take only 1 time and it worked like miracle.
no not having any burning or anything like that, just sudden urges to pee. im almost wondering if im losing water retention or something because it is so similar to how i feel before my period. i don't know, but the pain is gone today. i guess i'll never know now
Hun, I've been going through the worst bout of utis at the moment what started off as a mild one with a bit of discomfort at the end of the wee which cleared up with antibiotics came back with a vengeance on the last day of the pills with terrible pain and blood in the urine. Now I am new pills and this thing is hanging around One uti can differ from the next depending on where in the urinary tract the infection is; from stinging while weeing, frequent peeing, discomfort to blood in the urine. Best thing to do even if you feel that something just isn't right is see a dr for antibiotics. You can get class A drugs that are safe for pg so ask for those. Also you can get cranberry pills that can help ease the symptoms but I havn'y tried those although I know people who swear by them.
A word of warning. An untreated uti can be very serious as the pp said. My dad has one a several years ago and was too stubborn to go to the dr. He hot very sick and it went up to his kidney. He ended up in complete renal failure and very nearly died. Silly old fool. He is no longer scared of the dr
thanks. i would go straight to the dr if it got any more suspicious but all today i have been fine. i'll keep a look out for anymore symptoms of it though. i had 4 appointments last month and have one in a few days.. me and the doctor well we see a lot of each other lol. it is hard for me to get worried right now because i just had an adjustment to my meds which cause all types of symptoms so i try not to jump to conclusions but i totally understand your concern.. UTI's are no joke. I have been lucky not to have one especially with all the crazy ttc stuff i've tried over the last few yrs lol
