What happens BEFORE implantation? What to do or not do?
I'm feeling like I need to do something different this 2ww.
So you ovulate, and then implant 6-12 days later. What is going on during those 6 days?
I'm 2dpo and wondering what the sperm and egg are doing right now. Do they have to have met right now or all chance is lost? The egg has a short life once the corpus luteum releases it, so does that mean, by now they have either fertilized or are both dead?
I'm also wondering about what to do/not do during the 2ww.
I went on a roller coaster yesterday, a hot tub and pool today, and did some exercise....and I was wondering if I was doing stuff that would hurt the chances of conception. But then I might just be over thinking things.
What does everyone else do/ not do during the 2ww?
Hmmm well, not that I know of. Most normal activity should be fine. This is only my 2nd 2ww so I'm no expert lol. Make sure you're getting your vitamins and being healthy and that's really all the advice I could think of, u know?? I've googled it before and really it seems that normal healthy activity is just fine. = )
I have wondered this as I too regularly go to the gym and love my hot baths but this is not supposed to effect the implantation process. I've heard only in early pregnancy these things can lead to an increased chance of miscarriage.
Although I've been ensuring that I am on multivits and avoid too much exposure to cleaning products. I am trying to limit my caffeine intake. I have heard that these subtle changes can lead to a large increase in conceiving.
I am currently 6dpo and know how long this wait can be!
That's really helpful. Starting today I'm going to avoid hot baths and cleaning products (I just told hubby he has to clean hehe)...I just took a hot bath and now I'm of course freaking out but I'm too early for implantation.
I'm not normally so crazy in the 2ww but I think it's finally getting to me.
Just live your life like you normally do (since you're not a drinker or drug user, lol).
Otherwise, you'll drive yourself crazy. Life goes on and if it takes you some time (I'm on to month #8), you could miss out on all kinds of normal/happy things. I so sad with those stupid bfns, that I don't want to miss out on those little things that make me so happy.
I still drink caffeine (in moderation).
Take hot baths (just got out of a luxurious one and it seriously helped my mood).
And I do vigorous exercise (stair climber) for 30 minutes 3-5 times a week.
