I am currently 4dpo, i have noticed today when i wiped twice so far i have had alot of cm, this last time (TMI sorry) i actually touched it and it was very elastic, i dont remember how it was with my first pregnancy, but is this a good sign? or is this what the body just normally goes through...only other symptoms are mild pressure down there, and thats about it...thanks in advance ladies!
I'm not sure.. I can't remember what mine was like with my DD but I know that just today (I'm also 4dpo) my cm is creamy coloured, sticky but not stretchy.. There's not much of it either atm which I'm thinking is a negative sign??
Sorry I'm not much help - didn't want to read and run xx
It's still pretty early and can change. Your body produces some progesterone whether you are pregnant or not, so it's not unusual to have CM either way.
I have always found for me personally, that when I'm pregnant around 7 dpo I start to feel quite wet, and my CM varies between yellow creamy and white milky discharge that TMI ahead, tends to leave a little coating of it on my undies. Sometimes when I check inside though I feel wet and slippery. Other times they'll be a real gob of the lotiony type.
When I'm not pregnant the last week before AF comes it tends to be more tacky/sticky and the day before AF arrives I sometimes have more EWCM due to the increase in estrogen that happens right before AF arrives.
I think at 4 dpo it's just too early to tell. If it's a change from your normal for you though, that's always a hopeful sign.
