Gosh, I promised myself that I wouldn't symptom spot this month (I've been doing so well...) but I'm wondering about a few things and if they could be a good sign. I'm 7 dpo, have had very watery cm (sometimes creamy, too) since about 2 dpo as well as very sore boobs. Also, yesterday at 6 dpo, my temperature fell to 97.6 (had previously been 97.9-98.1 since ovulation) and then went back up to 98.0 today. What do you guys think? I feel like I've had all of these "symptoms" in other months, but I don't think I've had them all together... especially the dip. I know temps can be so unreliable though, so I'm really trying not to bank on this.
This is our 9th month ttc, so I'm really hoping this is it! : ) Any help would be WONDERFUL! Good luck, ladies!
Its great news hun! . I agree temps can be unreliable due to ourselfs (waking up wrong time, going to loo etc..) but its thats what your temps have said then its looking pretty good! Im 5DPO and my morn temp raised to 98.2 so im kinda hoping for a dip tomorrow and rise the next day but thats probably wishfull thinking!
A dip can always be good if it's unusual for you. Personally I always get a drop at 8dpo so I know to ignore it now. Last month my chart went triphasic and looked perfect, but AF still came right on time. Because of that I don't put much trust in temps after ovulation has been confirmed. I just carry on so I can see when AF is about to arrive when it drops at the end of my cycle.
But saying all of that, if it's not normal for you then it's definitely a good sign, especially with the high temps!
And I SO know how you feel with the no symptom spotting thing... I tried that this month. I lasted up until 14dpo, caved and went running to Google to find my symptoms Still pretty good though for someone who, this time last month, was obsessive over every little twinge
Hi girls! Thank you so much for responding. I'm hoping it's a good sign like you have both said, but I can't help but be a little bit of a "Debbie Downer" about it because I've had what I thought were great signs in the past and never got a BFP. My temp this morning was 98.1, so I hope it keeps going up. Do the temps after the dip have to be higher than the temps before the dip for it to be a good sign?
TTC Sept -- I know exactly what you mean about being let down by your temps. When I first started temping, I had a triphasic chart and convinced myself I was pregnant, only to find out that it's pretty normal for me to have a triphasic chart!
I will be sure to come back and update this thread to let you guys know the outcome!!! Thanks again for your help!
i knew nothing about about charting or anything with my son i didnt know there was so much to it ! lol we were just having ALOT lol. so im sorry i cant be of much help there. i wish i did know about it all then though because maybe it wouldnt have taken 10 months to conceive him lol ! altho im on cycle 4 now so maybe it would have.
but i will be here to give more encouragement and to cheer you on !
ps- i do know though that a dip and then spike and staying high is a very good thing!!!
your not going to like my answer lol......
i was so pissed off with people saying it will happen... blah blah blah, and im getting upset with people saying it to me now too .
but the answer is that on that last month i got so dissapointed with seeing negatives all the time, i just gave up on testing and caring lol. so when i finally did test i was amazed lol. could be a coincidence, but ill never know i guess lol.
and thankyou i try to be helpful and supportive because thats what i love about this site
