what does morning sickness feel like??? please dont R&R

hi ladies ,
just wondering if any one can tell me what morning sickness feels like and does it always involve nausea.
my reason for asking is i have been feeling fine one minute and then the next i have an upset stomach (it just feels yuck), i am also slightly bloated and have a pain down below my belly button, headache and feel quite ligtheaded, as well as diarehia (however you spell it lol. i have no nausea and that is why im wondering if it is morning sickness or a stomach bug

I dont know what morning sickness feels like either and this is my third pregnancy - not everyone gets it.

Only symptom I have ever had is nausea/funny rumbling tummy that is cured by eating, and that doesnt usually start til past 6wks pregnant.

If what you are experiencing is not normal for you, then there is a chance it is some kind of symptom - I hope it is!!

hey hon,

A friend of mine had morning sickness and she said it was more like a sudden urge to throw up, mostly brought on by a food aversion. It would come in waves.

However, my mum just felt nauseaous throughout the whole of her first trimester. I think its different for everyone.

I have Emetophobia (fear of being sick) so I actually have a panic attack if I even feel sick and I havent actually let my body be sick for about 15yrs. So I think for me it would be unlikely I would actually vomit. I have spent so many years training myself not to be.

Sorry, I can't be any more help

Hi

My morning sickness started off as waves of nausea a bit like sea sickness or car sickness. It would be there one minute and gone the next, it got worse over a couple of weeks and by 8 weeks i couldn't keep anything down. I also had terrible diarrhea that no tablets could help, and that's what made me take a test.

Good luck

thanks for replying , yer i thought it was more of a nausea thing but i was just checking cause it hits me quite suddenly. I hope i am pregnant rather then just have a tummy bug.
I had a friend that was exactly the same as you she was petrified of throwing up as well and when she fell pregnant she used to do anything to make her not sick including lying down on the floor lol

When I was in my late teens/early twenties it was so bad that I thought I would never try for a baby because morning sickness scares me so much. Now I have silly little rituals to get passed it. I have to bite (gently lol) the sides of my mouth and breathe really deeply and then tell my body it isnít going to be sick. I have been doing it since I was about 7yrs old.

I hope you feel better soon and that it is because you are pregnant.
