I feel like such a n00b lol!


Okay, So i've been doing a little research on "baby aspirin" or "low dose aspirin"..... So its just aspirin??? Lol, I thought it was something amazing, Its just aspririn So if you don't have low dose aspirin then can you just break a normal aspirin in half?? Ttc and everything involved confuses the hell out of me

Hi Zoey. Adult aspirin are usually 325 mg & a baby aspirin is usually 81 mg. If that's the dose of aspirin you have, you would need to cut it into fourths. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply mommytobe, Everything is so confusing, With my LO it was just have sex=baby. Now were ttc its all so confusing I don't think im going to take baby aspirin, I was just curious lol xx

Actually the doses of "baby" aspirin vary country to country. In the UK it is usually 75mg which can be found in any chemist and stores such as home bargains for well under 1. Other doses such as 300mg can be found in Wilkinsons for 19p for 16 tablets, so my first month I just quatered them. Have got my 75's now though as sometimes the active ingredient isn't always ditributed evenly in a tablet and you can get varying dosages then but I don't think you can go too far wrong really. But yeah they are just aspirin but a lower dose than often used x

in some women with recurrent miscarriages it has been shown to help prevent miscarriage by thinning the blood and preventing excess clotting.......i believe
