Home births..anyone else considering this?

I have decided that im going to do a home birth this time around. I think it will be much more relaxing and less stressful then in the hospital. I have had two births in the hospital already and both times I hated it. And on top of that...they decide when you can leave and dont have much say in the matter..plus you dont get any sleep. When it was time for me to push...a swarm of students came in to stare at my vagina when I said I didnt want any students to come in and only wanted the nurses and my doctor. My last pregnancy...my doctor didnt even deliever the baby..it was a student. I was pissed! I couldnt say much about it cause I was in so much pain and focusing on pushing. And even tho I got an epadural...they shut if off close to the end and you end up feeling everything anyway. So I think a home birth is a great choice..where I can have the lights down low..playing soft music with candles and maybe a bath cause I heard that helps with the pain.

Anyone else considering this?

I definitely considered it until I found out my insurance wouldn't pay for anything if I did a home birth

I had a home birth 6 weeks ago and I would definitely recommend it. It was very relaxed and calm - truly perfect
