If the last three days have indeed been spotting, well then that could mean my progesterone might be off (or so a friend of mine seems to think). I've spotted the last two months as well, but nothing like what it was on Friday, and never that early. The things our bodies do to us!!

I didn't have my hope up this month because of all the stress I knew that I was going through, but I have to say, Friday gave me that little push to think maybe this was it, so it's kind of an "I told you so" day today. Will wait and see what comes tomorrow I guess.

I am thinking I might try something different this time with ff, and not put my temps in. I have to temp (as the doc wanted me to temp for 6 months) I will put my opk tests in and stuff like that, but only record my temps on paper for now. That way, I won't really know where I'm at for a cover line, and then won't know if I slip below until I start my period. This waking up and seeing a low temp thing sucks.

Nursemommy, how long will you wait before you make a doc app, and silly question but is there anything that they could do to kick start your period?
Hi Monkey, so sorry ur temp dipped today, ((hugs)) several months ago I was spotting before AF & it seemed like my AF was longer, probably because of the spotting. I started drinking red leaf raspberry tea (herbal kimd that u get at most grocery stores) it helps to streghten ur uterus muscles. (google it if u want, u will find a TON of info/real life storied about it. I only drank it from AF TIL O, & it definitely helped me. No more days of spotting before AF, AF a little shorter and less cramping. Shockingly it actually tastes really good too! I am not a tea drinker but I actually really liked this tea. I would mix in a couple bags of extra lemony herbal tea with it when I made it. (I made a gallon at a time)

I am not sure when I will call. I bet I will be calling next week sometime if AF doesn't come full force. This time I will request to have my hormone and tyroid levels (I have a hypothyroid) drawn to be sure they are all normal. Yes there are meds they can give you to jump start a period. I have had to use them 2 times and even after those my period wasn't very long. I have actually heard some people use them to get pregnant. I am now 12 days late. No spotting today yet.

Here we go again!! So the temp drop yesterday went below the coverline to 36.7, and I had thought nothing of it, just that AF was on her way....well there was only a bit in the morning and nothing in the afternoon or evening. Woke up this morning, and my temp was 36.7 again, meaning yes AF is definitely on her was, but it was only this am when I logged my temps on to FF that I realized this is the same temp that was causing me grief before I o'd!

When I went to walmart I looked for another bbt thermometer, they only had the same kind that I have now at home, and the same drugstores up there so they had the same as here also. Going to go and talk to the pharmacist today and ask about vitamin b6, and why my temp would be "stuck" so to speak. I know it's not the thermometer, as I have clearly ovulated and my temps fluctuated every post-o. Have a great day ladies!

Hey ladies! It's been awhile.... so long that I was really surprised to see this thread still active!! I see that everyone has been riding the emotional roller coaster lately..... but I'm soooo happy to see that we're all still here for each other.

So, hubby was gone all last month, so I took that month to rejuvinate and I have to say, it was kinda nice not thinking about TTC. I got a lot done (mainly because I wasn't on this website 2-4 hours a day like before!), but I miss you ladies and it's equally as nice to be able to post again! My hubby got promoted, which is a HUGE weight off our shoulders as we thought for sure he would be forced to retire in a few months. Sooo.... back to TTC this month.

I chose not to use OPK's this month. I want to try to take a more lighthearted approach to TTC, since it can get so stressful when I put all my energy into it. Kinda one of those "if it happens, it happens" things this month. Anyway, I've had EWCM and pain for several days and my cervix is definately SHOW right now. All signs point to O today....

I'm in the middle of a statistics class right now, so I have a lot to keep me occupied during this TWW. How is everyone doing today?

Hi kellysmom!! So glad ur back! I know what u mean about taking the if it happens it happens approach. Thats kinda where we too. Ttc does become consuming and I think can cause more stress than necessary. I havent been temping this month and wasn't using opks regularly. I believe I am 11dpo today, part of me wants to test but the majority of me doesnt. I dont have any tests which I think helps take the urge away and I dont plan on buying any til af is late...
But my bbs have been incredibly sore, which sometimws happens before af for me but not always so I dont know how reliable that is as a symptom. Have had cramping on and off for about a week but tonite it wasnt like af cramping it was more of a pulled muscle type of burning feeling. Im not getting my hopes up tho!

So glad ur back!! We've missed u!! Hope this is ur month!

Angie, I feel your pain! I try every month not to get my hopes up, then somehow I end up breaking my own promises and testing early, which just creates a whole new level of stress in and of itself! I hope this is your month! I still have like 30 or so of those crappy 10 miu tests. I just want to get rid of them so I can get some better ones, but throwing them away seems like a waste of money. So, we'll see in a couple of weeks if I can resist the urge to test early. Good luck to me, hehehe.

So, my pain went away yesterday and is completely non-existent today. I'm guessing I O'd earlier than suspected, probably the day before or even before that. I did have a lot of pain three days ago, but it was two hours before DTD, so I hope we weren't too late. Either way, I'm putting myself at 2 dpo today.

Good luck ladies....!

AF came in full force today. I don't know when to start counting as I started spotting on April 6th. I don't know if I will be doing ovulation tests this month or not or just go off of symptoms. I do have 5 ovulation tests left I may use those then when they are gone just not buy any more.

hey girls!

So I need some support from you girls right now. It really has nothing to do with TTC.

I got my blood results back from my physical and it was positive for an autoimmune disorder, most likely Lupus. I go back to the dr. next wed to discuss all my results and referral to a specialist.

Right now I am just scared, nervous, and kind of happy my symptoms I have dealt with all my life might actually have a place. Sorry I had to tell someone cause I do not want to tell anyone else whats going until I have a definite diagnosis. But also this means I can not be TTC at this time until I get it figured out.

Hope you girls are doing great and nursemommmy I am sorry AF got ya, i will say your 1st day of bleeding is CD1. Angiemomma did you test?

Hi ladies!
Blondie: Sorry to hear that you have an autoimmune, but at least now you can work on getting everything figured out! And I have a friend who was diagnosed with Lupus and once she had everything under control went on to have a baby girl (who turned one last week!)

Angiemomma: hoping you get a bfp!

I am temping, but only writing it on a piece of paper, not putting it into ff, I don't really feel like staring at those freakin cross hairs this month, but I still have to record temps as per the doc's request. I'm going to use opk's again this month, but I've got a feeling that i'll o late again due to stress. My dad started his chemo and is really sick, the doc is looking at different treatment, but it will be in a different town. So I am looking at travelling this summer to be with him during his treatment, or if he starts treatment before I finish teaching then I'll be going as soon as I'm done. Everything is up in the air right now, and there is nothing I can do about it...except worry!! Which of course doesn't help with ttc, oh well!

Hi nursemommy, sorry the witch got u ((hugs)) they say ur supposed to start counting from the 1st day of AF flow and not the 1st day of spotting... Im not so sure how that works... I think ita kinda a gray area IYKWIM, & it could vary w/everyone. I would go by other signs, cp,, etc and then use your opk's to confirm it.
When I use opks they always get gradually darker until I get a + n then its undoubtly +. So pretty much when I see it getting really close to being a + or its getting considerably darker I can predict the day I'll get a +. But I know some ladies dont get gradually darker.
