Can EPO cause late ovulation?

I typically have 28 day cycles and ovulate around CD 12. I decided to try evening primrose oil to help with EWCM, and my ovulation shifted to day 14 or 15. The wonky cycles were freaking me out (because the late O shifted AF back too, making me think I was pregnant), so I stopped all supplements this month... and ovulated on CD10!

Have any of you heard of EPO causing late ovulation? I think I'm going to stick to Preseed rather than any pills. Ugh.

I really can't tell as this is my first charting cycle.

And I haven't had ANY problems with cervical mucus (rather the opposite) even though I haven't checked the "fertility" of the mucus. I've had so much mucus I permanently have to have liners in.

This month I've been taking the EPO to CD 12 - and NO CM whatsoever and a possible ovulation around CD 17-18 (today). Now I am defo not doing EPO next cycle as I have a suspicion that it might bugger up my cycle. It could be that I'm 36 compared with my pregnancy at 30, but with no CM for me is very weird.

Thanks, Heramys. I didn't notice that it helped with CM, so out with the EPO! I'm 41, so this older ttc thing is pretty interesting... best of luck to you!

OMG, could that be? I took EPO 5days to O and my O day was late by 3-4days, didnt notice additional EWCM too so i used preseed. I tot it didnt work for me cos i used it for just 5days and i used a dose of 1000mg. Thats too bad if it delays O.

I have been taking b100, EPo and drinking grapefruit juice this cycle. I normally get a +opk on cd14 and O next day. This time, only got a +opk yesterday at cd16. Not sure if was any of them that caused it or just messed up cycle following a mc last month. My LP is only 10 days, so will be interesting to see what happens!

It happened to me too. Took EPO this month from CD 6 on, and it delayed ovulation by 3 days and it actually dried me up!!! I was so mad because my hubby has to abstain for a few days to build up his little guys, so we have to plan the day to the exact!! I'm never doing that stuff again!!
