I'm not sure if I have posted this in the correct section.

We have been NTNP/TTC for a long time (years). I haven't bedn temping or doing ovulation tests, but have been logging my cycle & symptoms for about 6months, so I don't look like a complete fool like I did last time I visited my doctor.

I never really knew the in's & outs of my cycle, just knew that AF came every month & I could usually feel when.
I've since learnt there is a pattern and AF comes round the beginning of every month, usually the 4th/5th.

This month AF hasn't arrived yet & the iPhone app I have been logging all my info in is showing that I am now 9days late. I've got VERY tender breasts, increased appetite, tiredness but that's about it.

Yesterday I did a test in the afternoon but got BFN.

I'm just don't know what to think, I had my hopes up but then the BFN yesterday dashed them.

I don't know what to do now, do you think AF is just gearing up to come, or could there be something else wrong? The HPT I did was an Asdas own brand Early one, sensitivity of 15ml I think?

Any advice please would be much appreciated

Wow thats a lot of symptoms!

I think it looks v.promising. You should defo test again but try using FMU not afternoon pee, and maybe invest in a FRER test. It might still be a bit early to test as it is hard to decipher from your symptoms when you ovulated.
Symptoms like nausea and breast pain very likely indicate pregnancy unless they are normal for you during your cycle??
For instance I never get sore breasts before AF so I know that for me this would be a clear sign.

Thank you. Lol I have been a bit OTT with symptom spotting.
Symptoms such as bodyaches I cannot really pinpoint as I do quite a physical job, so could be due to that. I also suffer with headaches/migraines anyway.

Before AF arrives I normally have light cramping, aching legs, tender breasts, & cold sweats during the night.

I will look at investing in FRER...

I too have the pain around my belly button that started a few weeks ago. It was super strong at first and somewhat worrisome. Now, I am getting more symptoms so I am wondering if the belly button pain is a sign of pregnancy? odd.

you can have a late af if your worrying and stressing too much! 9 days is rather late though!! it does sound quite promising to me but i would try testing again using fmu and try using a different type of text maybe? i broke out in spots before i got my bfp it was awful i hope you get your bfp this month! keep us updated sending loads of baby dust your way!!
