Checking Cervix & AF's arrival

Hey Ladies,

For those of you charting your cervix, what is it usually like when AF arrives?
I've understood it to be low, firm & open.
Today is CD1 & the first time I decided to check my cervix on the start of my cycle & its up pretty high...firm & open.

for me, Ive had my cervix be mid high, and firm and open.

mine feels softer than it does after ovulation and lower starting the day before af arrives. mine doesn't actually feel open until the day of af

it kind of takes an entire cycle to figure out what is high and what is low for you though, personally there isn't a huge difference between high and low for me

Ah ok. Yeah it's pretty high. Have a hard time feelin it.
I usually check from just b4 my fertile time through my cycle to note fertile signs.
So I don't know what is normal for me on Cd1.
