how many dpo is hcg found in blood?


So i know it varies depending on when implantion was, but rougly does anybody know when it should be picked up in a blood test?
becasue ive read a few differant things... and my doctor said it varies

Your doc is right it varies... by quite a bit. Implantation occurs 6-12 days after conception takes another 2-3 days to show in urine. Not sure about blood, probably 1-2 days. So should show in urine 8-15 days after conception, blood 7-13 or so. GL

It shows sooner in blood than in urine, but your doc is right. It varies.

Thanks ladies, asked the fertility specialist today and he said after the first day of your missed period!
its hard to do but it seems like the best thing to do is jsut to wait for af, so much easier said than done!

WEll he's just blowin smoke up your @ss... it can be detected WAY earlier than that. For my IUI this month, they are gonna draw about 5-6 days before my expected period. But most docs wont do a blood pregger test unless you are doing something like IUI or IVF. Those procedures are more crucial to know sooner since so much $ and effort is invested into it. And levels need to be checked more frequently. and good luck to you!
