A week and 2 days late for period.

As my title says I am a week and 2 days late for my period. am testing negative and am going insane. I test about every 2 to 3 days(not always fmu). Is it possible to still be pregnant? Is there any hope?

Yes! Very possible. In fact, I personally know one lady who didn't test positive until 2 weeks late and another who didn't test positive until a couple months in! It's a frustrating process, but don't lose hope!

I'd say being that late is very promising.

it is possible! how sensitive are the HPTs you're using/what brand are you testing with? i think once you hit a week or more late you're recommended to go to the doctor and get a blood test.

I have used First Response, $ Tree, and a cheapie from Wal-Mart. I am going to wait to hit my two week mark next week on Wednesday to make an appointment with my Doc. Only once in my life about 2 years back have I been this late and I had just moved to another state and was under lots of stress. I am at a loss and my gut, even though I am scared to admit says I am pregnant I just cannot believe it at the same time. Hope that makes sense.

i think the miu/L for those tests is at 25mcg... if you want to wait to go to the doctor, have you considered ordering the super-sensitive test strips? babyhopes and a couple others make strips that measure 10miu, so if your HCG levels are a little low, it'd be more likely to pick it up. either way, being late sounds promising, and a strong gut feeling is nothing to scoff at! good luck and
