First iui and in the 2ww beta on April 3

Good morning ladies. I am new to this forum and thought I would introduce my self, sorry if this gets as long as a novel. I am thirty with PCOS and my husband is 33 with no fertility issues. We have been married for almost 2 years and together for almost 15. We started trying shortly after we were married six cycles unmedicated and then I lost my af due to the PCOS. Doctor then put me on clomid 50. First month af but on the second bfp we went for an us at 9 weeks and our peanuts heart beat was at 50 and I had a huge cyst a week later no heart beat one week later on Oct. 18 mc, we lost our little angel. Heart broken it took me 3 months to get get rid of the cyst naturally and then off to the specialist. Special then found another 53 mm cyst so we had to wait again. Finally march 22nd and 23rd we were able to have our first IUI. I have my beta on April 3rd and I am so nervous. I remember the symptoms post bfp from my last pregnancy but I did not know this early. Any of you ladies have any insight on possible symptoms I should be having at this point, I would be very grateful.

First, want to say I'm sorry for your loss. I had chemicals and not easy, but I couldn't imagine seeing my baby on a sonogram and then mc. So sorry.

Theres no symptoms you SHOULD be having, you could have none and still be nice and pregnant. I'm on my second IUI, and also have PCOS. These are the symptoms I've had so far. (Nurse said the first few days are caused by the HCG shot) I've had hunger, nausea, and cramping 1-6dpIUI (today) and yesterday I started spotting, light pink only every other trip to the bathroom or so, today its a little bit more spotting, but still very light pink. I am cramping like AF cramps big time. My doc did a progesterone check on me yesterday and came out excellent (last time pregnancy wasn't possible, my progesterone was too low) Thats it so far, I am instructed to just do a HPT since my progesterone levels were so high. I should be doing that April9th, except I have been testing every day to watch my trigger shot leave my system. FX'd for you

Thanx

Thanks for the reply Brittles. I am sorry to hear of your loss too. I know it is not easy no matter how far along you are. I will pray for a bfp for you. The only things I have noticed that are the same as my last pregnancy is I am slightly crampy and I do not like anything tight on my lower abdomen laying on my stomach is uncomfortable I am also moody (cry at the drop of a hat) and am so tired. I have not had any spotting but I do not remember spotting last time. Specialist has me on several meds metformin because of the PCOS and crinone because progesterone level was 13.40 day of test. So I am not sure if what I feel (sensitive abdomen, mood swings and tiredness) are due to the medication. These types of forums are so great because I have found it so hard to talk to family and friends about what I am going through since they have never been through it. Don't get me wrong they try to help and understand but it is not the same as someone who is going through the same thing. Tons of baby to you!!!!!

I know what you mean. Both my sister and mother got pregnant just THINKING about I did too with my first, 1st try and I was preggers. Ive just had so much happen since them. My progesterone was also low. 12.9 last time. This time I had 27.3!!! I took 150mg clomid (stopped metformin a long time ago, hurt my stomach too much) Fertile CM, Prenatal vitamin, Evening Primrose and baby aspirin. Not sure which one helped or all of them, but My progesterone is at the top of the "non pregnant" range and well with in sustainability levels.
Your symptoms spound very promising!! Have you done any hpts?

No I have not tried one yet. I am afraid the hcg trigger may still be in my system and trigger a false positive. Don't want to get my hopes up. But was thinking of trying Monday.

It should only stay in your system for about 10 days max... I have tested mine out. I am 6 dpIUI (8dp trigger, taken 36 hours prior to IUI) and it is almost gone. Like gotta squint, tilt at an angle and wait 20 minutes in order to actually see the line. haha Keep me posted. Hope you get that
