smoking when ttc

Has anyone had a bfp even whilst smoking during ttc or tww?

I'm sure there are plenty of people who have gotteb pregnant while smoking. If you are trying to conceive I would highly suggest you start quitting if you want to increase your chances of a healthy baby. That is, if you are a smoker.

Unfortunately...i am a smoker.. I have only been successful with quiting when I was pregnant...
With my son it was the key to take a test-by then I was 8-9 weeks and I would get sick everytime I smoked...
With my daughter- I didnt get sick but actually craved the nicotine. My doctor had me wean off the cigarettes so that by month 4-5 I was no longer smoking.
Quiting is a good idea but going "cold turkey" can cause more harm than good which is why my doctor had me wean off of them.
Just found out I am pregnant again, and smoking didnt stop me from getting pregnant. I am now working on weaning off of them.

i smoked with both my sons upto the 3 month period,l then i went cold turkey with the last two which i mc

not saying thats what did it but the extra stress on to of the hormone chages you are already going through cant be good x

Thank you for your responses. ive been smoking a lot (well 5 a day) lately and was wondering if smoking is preventing me from getting pregnant. my two pregnancies were mc but i quit n didnt crave it so im hoping it wasnt my body going looney. good luck ladies xx :-*
